DUKE AND THE DOCTOR

{ CLIENT }
DUKE and the DOCTOR
Nationally syndicated Health Talk Radio Show

{ CAMPAIGN GOALS }
TO DEVOLOP MORE ENGAGEMENT WITH LISTENERS
Already the #1 Health Talk Radio Show, Duke and The Doctor wanted to take their show to the next level.

{ STRATEGY }
TO MAKE SOCIAL MEDIA AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE RADIO SHOW
By positioning DUKE and the DOCTOR as the entertaining health experts, we were able to bring their personalities to life via social media including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

{ IMPLEMENTATION }
Their listeners like to ask questions, so social media provided the perfect opportunity to get more people involved with the dynamic hosts as well as the radio show itself.

We initially undertook a complete website re-design with the overall goal of increasing the number of visitors. The site was built to optimize SEO and to include more of the high traffic sections. Streaming the live radio show, archiving past shows, adding a video component and delivering daily health information needed to be easy and seamless. The creation of a blog was considered to be an integral part of the “engagement” process.

Social media platforms were created to launch simultaneously with the new website. Radio show listeners were driven to the new site and Facebook, encouraged to comment and participate in daily dialog.

We also helped the award-winning husband and wife team celebrate Las Vegas style at a recent NPA show. “Dr.Jan” won the “Clinician of the Year” award and the dynamic pair kicked off a whirlwind of events starting with a live radio show, on-site interviews on the trade show floor, a winners cocktail party and the finale—a dinner, cabaret show and red carpet photo op. All three days were caught on video for social media distribution and PR coverage.

{ RESULTS }

• The radio show increased its listenership and the integration of the multimedia platform refreshed and re-energized the show.
• The show hosts fully embraced social media:
• Facebook fans are now over 1,870
• Twiter followers 1,115
• Online sales have increased
• Duke and the Doctor radio show has developed a loyal online community
